After four decades in Calgary real estate, I’ve seen market shifts come and go—and right now, we’re seeing some intriguing price changes in our surrounding communities. Detached home prices are trending downward in a few areas: Chestermere has dropped 4.6% (now $771,900), Airdrie is down 4.5%, Cochrane 3.9%, Canmore 2.4% (now $1,681,400), and High River 1.6%. On the other hand, Strathmore stands out with a 3.5% increase, reaching $579,400.
